"21" Endowed Scholarship



Established to help an incoming freshman by Mrs. Greeta Paris, a long-time area school teacher and 1921 graduate of Lewiston Normal School (now Lewis-Clark State College). This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors who are from the Culdesac or Lapwai, Idaho area . Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and 6 credits each semester is required. Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Aletha Pabst Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by the friends of Aletha Pabst in honor of her memory. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Teacher Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.75 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Alpha Delta Kappa XI Annual Scholarship



Established by Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary organization for women educators. This scholarship provides funds for students accepted in the Teacher Education program with a senior status. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. The organization requests the recipient to meet with them at least one time during the semester and share their progress.





Alumni Student Scholarship



Established by donations from alumni and friends of Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students who have a parent or grandparent who is graduate of Lewis-Clark State College. Minimum grade point average of 3.00 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students showing involvement on campus and/or in the community. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Andrew L Smith Memorial Scholarship



Established by the family and friends of Andrew L. Smith. This scholarship provides funds for Native American who have a high degree of ambition and a current standing of sophomore or above. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Letter of recommendation from a college staff member is required. Open to all majors.





Angel B Zepeda Scholarship



Established in honor of Angel B. Zepeda, a successful businessman who has worked in the food industry for over 30 years. This scholarship provides funds for students majoring in Hospitality Management. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to first generation students and/or students who are participating in LC State TRIO or CAMP programs. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Association for Government Accountants Scholarship



Established by the Association of Government Accountants organization. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a Managerial Accounting emphasis. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Avista Scholars Diversity Scholarship



Established by Avista Corporation, an energy company involved in the production, transmission and distribution of energy. This scholarship provides funds for ethnic minority students who are incoming freshman. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Automated Manufacturing Technology; Engineering Technology; Heating, Air Conditioning and Appliance Technology; Industrial Electronics Technology or Welding Technology. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





B H “Bob” and Patricia Wittman Endowed Scholarship



Established in honor and memory of Bob Wittman for his personal contributions to LC State. This scholarship provides funds for students who have demonstrated a commitment to community involvement and volunteerism. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in Career Technical Education or Nursing and Health Services. Preference to first-generation college student, and/or non-traditional aged student, and/or veteran, and/or single parent. Minimum grade point average of 3.2 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. 





Bengtson Family Scholarship



Established by the Bengston family to support former and current foster youth who are pursing degrees at Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Betty Mae Alvord Allwine Memorial Scholarship in Nursing



Established to honor Betty Mae’s incredible dedication to the health industry. At age 56, she received her ASC in Nursing from LC State and became a registered nurse. This scholarship provides funds for students who are seeking a degree in the Nursing program. Minimum grade point average of 3.00 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Bill Sawyer Memorial Scholarship



Established by the family and friends of Bill Sawyer to honor his memory. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in a Career and Technical Education program. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Idaho County and have a special need (physical handicap, learning disability). Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Bob Olson Endowed Scholarship for Mullan High School/Shoshone County Students



Established by Dr. Robert D Olson, a 1950 graduate of Northern Idaho College of Education (now Lewis-Clark State College). Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students pursuing Secondary Education from Mullan High School or from Shoshane County, Idaho.





Bob Olson Endowed Scholarship in Debate



Established by Dr Robert D. Olson, class of 1950, who was a member of the college’s Speech and Debate Team for four years. This scholarship provides funds for students who are members of the Speech and Debate team or students with previous speech and debate involvement. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Bossow Nursing Scholarship



The Bossow Nursing Scholarship was established in 2022 through the generous estate left by Lynn Bossow.  Lynn served as the administrative assistant for the LC State Nursing and Health Sciences Division for 20 years.  This scholarship is available to students pursuing a BSN major, enrolled either full-time (12 credits or more) or part-time (6 credits or more), and demonstrates need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  Priority consideration will be given to students admitted to the RN-BSN track.


 





Browning Family Scholarship in Creative Writing



Established by the Browning family in memory of their brothers and sisters. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Minimum grade point average of 3.00 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must submit a writing sample of up to 10 pages of poetry or up to 30 pages of fiction or creative nonfiction, along with a letter of recommendation.





Bus & Mary Ellen Durant Business Endowed Scholarship



Established by Xavier (Bus) and Mary Ellen Durant who were active in the Clearwater, Idaho community. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree within the Business Division and be a graduate of Orofino or Timberline High School (ID). Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part -time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.

Established by Xavier (Bus) and Mary Ellen Durant who were active in the Clearwater, Idaho community. This scholarship provides funds for students who are a graduate of Orofino or Timberline High School (ID). Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part -time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.

Established by Xavier (Bus) and Mary Ellen Durant who were active in the Clearwater, Idaho community.  This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Nursing and be a graduate of Orofino or Timberline High School (ID). Bus & Mary Ellen Durant Timberline High School Technical Education Endowed Scholarship



Established by Xavier (Bus) and Mary Ellen Durant who were active in the Clearwater, Idaho community. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree within the Technical and Industrial Division and be a graduate of Orofino or Timberline High School (ID). Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part -time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Carlson-Lewiston Rotary Scholarship



Established by the members of the Lewiston Downtown Rotary. This scholarship provides funds for in the Nursing program who are a junior or senior. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of academic performance and leadership performance and active involvement in a professional nursing association (INSA or INA) or in the community. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Carolyn Silverthorne Memorial Scholarship



Established in honor of Carolyn Silverthorne who served as the Lewis-Clark State College’s Director of Theatre from 1930 until her passing in 1951. This scholarship provides funds for junior and senior students who demonstrate capabilities in all aspects of the theatre and have theatre-oriented career plans. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required, Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





CHAS Health Foundation Scholarship



Established by the CHAS Health Foundation to provide scholarships to support and honor our affiliation with Lewis-Clark State College and to recognize the positive impact of higher education on our lives.   The applicant will be attending the main campus in Lewiston, have a minimum 3.0 grade point average, and demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  The applicant will major in one of the following areas: biology, business administration, business management, health studies, nursing, or social work.





Chetwood Dental Hygiene Scholarship



Established by Dr. W. E. and Mrs. Martha Chetwood.  Dr. Chetwood was a dentist in Lewiston for 32 years.   This scholarship provides funds for students in their second year of the Dental Hygiene program.





Chilson Clan Scholarship



Established by Dr. Fred Chilson, Dean of Professional Studies at Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree from the School of Professional Studies (Nursing & Health Sciences, Business, and Teacher Education Divisions). Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to first-generation college students and/or a student from a rural community. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Chin Family Endowment Scholarship



This scholarship was created by Debra LIne and Michelle Chin Family to support students with financial need who are pursuing a degree in Education or Nursing.  The student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.  Preference will be given to students with the following backgrounds:  Veteran, first-generation, or non-traditional aged/adult learner. 

 





Clay and Mary Lou Robinson Scholarship



Established by the Robinsons who have taught at Lewis-Clark State College for 25 years. This scholarship provides funds for students who show a commitment to community service. Minimum grade point average of 3.2 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to first generation college students pursuing a degree in education or a health science field (Nursing, Movement & Science, Radiographic Science). Preference is also given to student athletes participating on the tennis, golf, track or cross-country teams. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Clifford and W E Johnson Annual Scholarship



Established by the Johnsons who wished to help a Lewis-Clark State College student offset college expenses. This scholarship provides funds for Idaho students. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students are/have been involved in 4-H and pursuing a degree in a Career & Technical Education Program. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. 





Coeur d’Alene Alumni Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark State College Coeur d’Alene Alumni. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least one semester of course work through the Lewis-Clark State College, attending the Coeur d’Alene Center. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Connie McLaughlin Gibbar Music Scholarship



Established by family and friends of Connie McLaughlin Gibbar, an extremely talented musician and former LC State employee. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a minor in Music and/or someone who has demonstrated commitment to the study of music by participating in a LC State musical performance group. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required to students. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Copeland Hospitality Scholarship



The Copeland Hospitality Scholarship was established in 2023 by Tony and LaDean Copeland.  The scholarship was created to honor their affiliation with Lewis-Clark State College and recognized the positive impact of higher education on their lives.  This scholarship is for students pursuing a major in hospitality.  The student must be attending full-time (12 or more credits).  Preference will be given to students from Asotin County in Washington, Clearwater, Idaho or Nez Perce county in Idaho. 





Copeland Nursing Scholarship



The Copeland Nursing Scholarship was established in 2023 by Tony and LaDean Copeland.  The scholarship was created to honor their affiliation with Lewis-Clark State College and recognized the positive impact of higher education on their lives.  This scholarship is for students pursuing a major in nursing and health sciences.  The student must be attending full-time (12 or more credits).  Preference will be given to students from Asotin County in Washington, Clearwater, Idaho or Nez Perce county in Idaho. 





Dan Maxwell Business Scholarship



Dan Maxwell established this scholarship to offset the educational expenses of a Walla Walla Community College - Clark Center (WWCC) student transferring to Lewis-Clark State College.  The student must be seeking a Bachelor's degree in Business and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The student must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Dean A Froehlich Endowed Scholarship



Established was established in memory of Dean A. Froehlich who was the vice president for administrative services and worked with five LC State presidents. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to non-traditional, single parents who are returning to higher education and plan on staying in Idaho. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. 





Dean and Colleen Mahoney Scholarship



Established in 2007 to provide additional funding for minority students. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are of minority descent and who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Dene Kay Thomas Endowed Scholarship



Established in celebration of Dr. Dene Kay Thomas, who served as the President of Lewis-Clark State College from 2002 until 2010. This scholarship provides funds for non-traditional female students. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors. 





Diana Brown Endowed Scholarship



Established by Diana Brown who was a non-traditional student diagnosed with breast cancer. This scholarship provides funds for non-traditional students. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are a cancer survivor, currently battling cancer, or has dealt with cancer in their immediate family. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Donna Ann Straughan & Sara Arlene Straughan Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Donna Ann Straughan & Sara Arlene Straughan. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in a Liberal Arts program. Must submit a personal statement explaining the intrinsic and instrumental value of a liberal arts education to themselves and to society. A letter of recommendation is also required. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Dr Milton L Snyder and Dr Dolores J Gibbons Endowed Scholarship



Established by Dr. Milton L Snyder (class of 1951) and Dr. Dolores J Gibbons. This scholarship provides funds for students who graduated from an Idaho public high school pursuing a degree in either a Career & Technical Education Program or in Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students with substantial involvement in extracurricular and community activities and who were employed in high school. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Dr William H Bond Memorial Scholarship



Established to honor the memory of Dr. William H. Bond a former physician in Lewiston. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Biology or Chemistry with a class standing of sophomore or junior. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Student should demonstrate interest in post-graduation education in health professions.





Dr William Laval Endowed Scholarship



Established by Dr. Laval who began teaching at LC State in 1963 and later became chair of the Natural Sciences Division and implemented a major and minor in Geology. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Geology or Earth Science. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time or part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required.





Dr. and Mrs. Charles Simmons Scholarship



Established by Dr. and Mrs. Charles Simmons in 1975. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Dr. John L. Nydegger Scholarship



Established by Dr. John Nydegger to benefit students who have taken theatre courses. This scholarship provides funds for students who have taken theatre courses (and receiving 3.0 grade point average in those courses) and are a sophomore, junior or senior. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students intending to pursue a career in teacher education and to those involved in backstage and performance work.





Edward Williams Memorial Scholarship



Established by the friends and family of Edward Williams to honor his memory. This scholarship provides funds for students who is an Idaho resident who graduated from an Idaho high school. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Eleanor Perry Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by the Lewiston-Clarkston Soroptimist Club in memory of Eleanor Perry. This scholarship provides funds for students in the final year of their program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Open to all majors.





Elizabeth McKissick Memorial Scholarship



Established by Mrs. Houston Thomas in memory of her sister. This scholarship provides funds for students who are at least 22 years of age at time of application. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who graduated from Lewiston High School. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Elta Moorman Arnold Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Elta Moorman Arnold who was active in education for 50 years. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Idaho County.





Fisher-Clark Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by Barbara J Clark in memory of her family and their long history with Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for female students. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Foundation Scholars Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark State Foundation as a scholarship and mentor program. This scholarship provides funds for incoming direct from high school students from Idaho and from Asotin County, Washington, who show exceptional academic, achievement, community involvement and leadership ability. Minimum grade point average of 3.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Open to all majors. 





Francis Ernest Millay/Ruth Stark Millay Memorial Scholarship



Established by Margaret and George Henriksen in honor of her parents. This scholarship provides funds for students Idaho residents pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and accepted into the Teacher Education Program Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Gene and Virginia Leach Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Gene and Virginia Leach who were active supporters of Lewis-Clark State College and who enjoyed athletic and theater events on campus. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to student athletes. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Gene Magleby Natural Science Endowed Scholarship



Established by the Gene Magleby Foundation to promote the field of natural sciences. This scholarship provides funds for sophomore or junior students pursuing a degree in either Biology or Chemistry who demonstrate interest in post-graduate education in the health professions. Minimum grade point average of 2.0) and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Glen and Babs Carlson Endowed Scholarship



Established by the LC State Foundation in honor of Glen and Babs Carlson. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required.





Goode Literary Scholarship



Established by Dr Okey Goode who served as Professor of English Literature for 34 years before retiring from Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in English or English: Secondary Education who have completed 45 credits at LC State. A 200-word essay explaining why a particular novel, story, poem or play matters, either to you or a broader culture is required. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Grace Smith Endowed Scholarship in Nursing



Established by Grace and Ralph Shawen in honor of their many family members who graduated from Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for senior students in good standing in the Nursing Program who are active in a professional nursing association (INSA or INA), the Nursing Division or in the community. Minimum grade point average of 2.0) and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Grand Chapter of Idaho Order of The Eastern Star Endowed Scholarship



Established by the Grand Chapter of Idaho Order of the Eastern Star. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Gretchen Dimico Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Gretchen Dimico and her outstanding dedication to nursing education. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Nursing at the Lewis-Clark State college Coeur d’Alene Center and are a current or former member of a professional nursing organization. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





H William and Barbara Belknap Scholarship



Established by H. William and Barbara Belknap. This scholarship provides funds for students a graduate of Lapwai High School or resident of Lapwai, Idaho who is an enrolled member or descendent of the Nez Perce Tribe. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Harry Campbell Estate Endowed Scholarship for Education



Established by Harry Campbell, class of 1937. This scholarship provides funds for students accepted into the Teacher Education Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Helen Bisbing Nursing Scholarship



Established by Helen Bisbing who valued education. This scholarship provides funds for students from the Lewiston-Clarkston area or from a small rural community in Idaho or Washington who is accepted in the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who intend on staying in the Lewis-Clark Valley and who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Helen LeBoeuf Scholarship



This scholarship was created by Helen LeBoeuf to support students with financial need.  The student must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.  Preference will be given to students with the following backgrounds:  GED graduates, or former foster youth.





Henderson Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by the estate of Patricia Maynard Henderson. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least one semester at Lewis-Clark State College. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part- time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Herbert Howe Perpetual Scholarship



Established by Herbert and Wilma Howe, who worked in the college library. This scholarship provides funds for students who are accepted into the Teacher Education Program and have completed at least 12 upper division Education credits. Minimum grade point average of 3.30 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





High School Leadership Scholarship



This scholarship will be given to a new freshman student, direct from high school, who held a leadership position during Senior year of High School.  Examples of leadership positions, but not limited to, include captain of a team, head cheerleader, student body president, salutatorian, or valedictorian.





Hinman-Jensen Endowed Scholarship



Established to honor the memories of Ruth Hinman-Jensen and J. Howard Jensen. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a Bachelor’s of Applied Technology or Applied Science. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who have not previously received this scholarship.





Idaho Education Access Fund



Established by the Idaho Education Access Fund to assist first-generation students who are Idaho residents in meeting their educational expenses.  Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12+ credits per semester) are required.  Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Innovation in Applied Engineering Technology Scholarship



Established by Charles B . DeVlieg. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled as an Engineering Technology major. Students must have complete a minimum of 26 credits in their major with a grade point average of 3.0.  Student must be enrolled full-time (12 or more credits per semester) and demonstrate need as determined by the LCSC Financial Aid Office.





International Student Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark State College International Programs Office. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to international students and students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Irene Carlson Gnaedinger Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Irene Carlson Gnaedinger. This scholarship provides funds for students a graduate of Lapwai High School (Lapwai, ID) who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Isaac "Ike" Wilson Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Ike Wilson (Class of 1977) who passed away in a tragic automobile accident. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least 15 credits at Lewis-Clark State College and have at least one parent enrolled in a federal or state recognized tribe or be of Native American status in Canada. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Jack and Maureen Streibick Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Jack and Maureen Streibick. Maureen served on the Lewis-Clark State Development Foundation board. This scholarship provides funds for students who have provided excellent service to the college. Minimum grade point average of 3.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  Open to all majors.





Jack M. & Mary Lou Gruber Scholarship



Established by Jack M. and Mary Lou Gruber in memory of their parents who were not afforded the opportunity of a college education. This scholarship provides funds for students who are actively involved in both campus and community events. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from the Lewis-Clark Valley. Open to all majors.





John AK Barker Endowed Scholarship



Established by John AK Barker to assist students who have demonstrated performance in all aspects of theatre. This scholarship provides funds for students involved in theatre and who are a sophomore, junior or senior. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to non-traditional students. Open to all majors.





John and Elinor Streiff Memorial Scholarship



Established to remember the Streiff’s dedication to the LC Valley and to higher education. This scholarship provides funds for junior or senior students pursuing a degree in either Social or Political Science and who are actively involved both the campus and the community. Minimum grade point average of 3.0) and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from the LC Valley.





John R Seaman Social Work Scholarship



Established in honor of John R Seaman, Professor Emeritus, who was a faculty member in the Social Work Program, served as Social Work Director and was coordinator of the Social Work Program’s Coeur d’Alene Center. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least 90 credits and are pursuing a degree in Social Work at the Lewis-Clark State Coeur d’Alene Center). Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Must submit a personal letter describing why you have chosen a career in Social Work.





June Stegner Endowed Scholarship



Established by June Stegner’s children to honor and remember her. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Education and are completing their student teaching internship. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Kaia Lynn Markwalter Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Kaia Lynn Markwalter who lost her life at a very young age from a heart defect. This scholarship provides funds for non-traditional students pursuing a degree within the Business Division. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who have been directly impacted by congenital heart defects.





Kenneth R and Mildred M Hensley Scholarship



Established by Kenneth R. and Mildred M Hensley. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Education or preparing for a career in teaching with a major in History or Physical Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Kenneth Rogers Memorial Scholarship



Established in 1982 by the family and friends of Kenneth Rogers. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the Collision Repair Program. Minimum grade point average of 2.0) and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to non-traditional students. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Laura Ann Peck Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established in honor of Laura Ann Peck who had a great admiration for those who had an aptitude for mathematics. This scholarship provides funds for students with 26 credits or more who are pursuing a degree in Mathematics and have successfully completed two semesters of calculus (MATH 175) or pursuing a Secondary Education Minor in Math and completed Math for Elementary Teachers I (MATH 157) and math for Elementary Teachers II (MATH 257) Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation Scholarship



Established through gifts from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation which has been providing assistance to Lewis-Clark State students since 1988. This scholarship provides funds for students who are residents of Idaho. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Laura Moore Cunningham Nursing Scholarship



Established through gifts from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation which has been providing assistance to Lewis-Clark State students since 1988. This scholarship provides funds for students who are residents of Idaho and are in the Nursing or Radiography Science Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Laura Moore Cunningham Publishing Arts Scholarship



Established through gifts from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation which has been providing assistance to Lewis-Clark State students since 1988. This scholarship provides funds for students who are residents of Idaho. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students with a genuine interest in the Publishing Arts (Book Publishing, Applied Technology, Marketing or Business). Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Lawrence and Margaret Duclos Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Lawrence and Margaret Duclos who both taught in the Weiser (ID) School District. This scholarship provides funds for students intending to apply for or be admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Weiser, ID or another small Idaho school.





LC State Blue Cross Scholar Program



Established by Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health to assist students in health care and health-related professional programs.  This scholarship will be given to students who are Idaho residents in their sophomore, junior or senior year majoring in nursing, radiographic sciences, medical assistant (bachelor of applied science), kinesiology (health and fitness) or social work.  Minimum grade point average of 3.25 and full-time enrollment (12+ credits per semester) are required.  Award amounts will be $4,000.00 per year and are renewable for up to three consecutive years.  There is a merit incentive of $1,000.00 for maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.75+ after the first year.  





LCSC Welding Club Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark State College Welding Club. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least one semester at LC State and are enrolled in the Welding Technology Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Leona H Craw Memorial Scholarship



Established by Leona H. Craw’s daughter, Patricia, in memory of her mother. This scholarship provides funds for Native American students. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Open to all majors.





Lewis-Clark Coin Club Endowed Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark Coin Club. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Open to all majors (Academic in odd years, Professional-Technical in even years).





Lewis-Clark Valley Kiwanis Club Endowed Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark Valley Kiwanis Club. This scholarship provides funds for students from Lewiston, Idaho or Clarkston, Washington. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to former Kiwanis Key Club members or current Collegiate Kiwanis International members. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Logan Lustig Annual Scholarship



Established in memory of Logan Lustig, a dedicated farmer who benefited from the Diesel Technology Program at Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part- time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Idaho and/or students planning on using their degree in the farming industry.





Lola Gamble-Clyde Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Lola Gamble-Clyde, class of 1919. This scholarship provides funds for students with majority of core requirements completed or vocational students who have completed at least one year of an A.A.S degree. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are present or past participants in the TRIO programs and/or students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Lorraine Tuck Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Lorraine Tuck. This scholarship provides funds for students born in Idaho who are pursuing a degree in Education Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Louisa Murphy Nursing Scholarship



Established in memory of Louisa Murphy by her daughter Esther and her friend Dr Fisher. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students in their second year who have demonstrated significant commitment to the nursing profession and their studies.





Lowe n' Wimer Scholarship



Established in 2017 to benefit Radiographic Science program students. This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the Radiographic Science Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Essay answering the following question: “Tell us, what makes you the most deserving recipient for this award?” is required.





Lt. Col. Howard A. Hayes - USAF Scholarship



Established by Lt. Col. Howard A. Hayes. This scholarship provides funds for students whose parent died in the line of duty, is a disabled veteran or who has served in the U.S. Armed Services. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Idaho, Washington or the Pacific Northwest. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Lyle and Sharon Parks Scholarship



Established by Lyle and Sharon Parks. This scholarship provides funds for students who have graduated from Kendrick High School in Kendrick, Idaho. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Professional-Technical Program, Health Sciences, Math, Science or Engineering Program.





Margaret (Beckman) Fettig Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Margaret (Beckman) Fettig. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Margaret Chavez Endowed Scholarship



Established to honor Dr. Margaret Chavez’s contributions to the Lewis-Clark State College’s Education Division. Dr. Chavez was nationally recognized as a leader in multicultural education and has been credited with a major role in the establishment of the college’s Pathways for Certification and Endorsement Program (PACE), targeting non-traditional students seeking teacher certification. This scholarship provides funds for students accepted into the Teacher Education Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Margaret G. Johnson and Marge J Stout Scholarship



Established by Marge J. Stout in memory of her mother, Margaret G. Johnson. This scholarship provides funds for Idaho resident students pursuing a degree in a two- or four-year Career & Technical Education Program and have completed at least 12 credits the previous semester at Lewis-Clark State College. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in a Business Technology & Service program.





Mark and Cathy Poe Business Scholarship



Established by the Lewis-Clark State College Business Division to honor Mark and Cathy Poe. This scholarship provides funds for non-traditional students pursuing a degree with the Business Division. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Marshall-Watters Scholarship



Established by Dr. Alan Marshall to benefit Native American students attending Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences or Humanities. Students must have at least 30 credits in residence at Lewis-Clark State College Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required.





Marvin DeLuga Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Dr. Marvin DeLuga, former professor in the Education & Kinesiology Division for 30 years. It was through Dr. DeLuga’s leadership and determination that the teacher preparation program first sought and received national accreditation. This scholarship provides funds for students accepted into the Teacher Education Program. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Mary Catherine Orr Nursing



Established by Ron Orr, Mary Catherine's husband, to honor her and her affiliation with Lewis-Clark State College and the nursing program.   Mary spent over 34 years as an RN emergency room nurse.  The applicant will have a 2.5 grade point average, be an Idaho resident, have completed their first semester in the nursing program, be full-time (12+ credits per semester) and demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  Preference will be given to animal lovers.





Maxine Arnold Pell Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Maxine Arnold Pell who taught in a number of country schools in Idaho County and tutored World War II veterans so they could fulfill the entrance requirements for college. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Idaho County.





Merlin McCulley Memorial Scholarship



Established in memory of Merlin McClulley who received his degree in drafting and design from Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design/ Printing Technology. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Michael and Phillip Duley Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by Mrs. Charlotte Duley Nordgaard in memory of her son, Michael Duley, and her late husband, Phillip Duley. This scholarship provides funds for junior or senior students pursuing a degree in Education. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Mike and Marjorie Jaspers Brewer Scholarship



Established by Mike and Marjorie Jaspers Brewer (class of 1950).  This scholarship provides funds for students enrolled in the teacher education program or the nursing program.  Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Military Order of The Purple Heart Scholarship



Established by a grant by the American Association of colleges for Teacher Education. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Education with a minor in Special Education. Minimum grade point average of 3.25 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Moss Family Scholarship



Established in honor of Oma Moss and the late Van Moss. Mrs. Moss was employed at Lewis-Clark State College for 23 years and Mr. Moss was a former faculty member. This scholarship provides funds for sophomore, junior or senior students pursuing an Associate’s degree in a Career and Technical Education field. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students non-traditional and/or first-generation students and/or veteran students. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





N. T. Baggett Memorial Scholarship



Established by Greenfield and Sandra Baggett who volunteer at Lewis-Clark State College. Mr. Baggett served on the LCSC Foundation Board. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are tutoring other students.





N.I.C.E. Ronald D. Corn Scholarship



Established by the Dale (class of 1949) and Jean Corn (class of 1950) in memory of their son, Ronald Corn. This scholarship provides funds for incoming freshman students pursuing a degree in Education or Nursing. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from high schools in the following Idaho towns: Orofino, Middleton, Emmett, Payette and Ola. 





Norman MacLean Scholarship



Established in memory of Norman MacLean and his literary work. This scholarship provides funds for junior and senior students pursuing a degree in English. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part -time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are full-time (12 or more credits per semester). Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Odd Fellows Lodge #8 Endowed Scholarship



Established Odd Fellows Lodge #8. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Orval and Lovilla Austin Endowed Scholarship



Established by Orval and Lovilla Austin. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Orval Austin Endowed Biology Scholarship   



Established by Char Gustafson in memory of her friend, Mr. Orval Austin. This scholarship provides funds for students in Biology with intent to attend veterinarian school.  Minimum grade point average of 2.0) and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Orval Austin Endowed Education Scholarship



Established by Char Gustafson in memory of her friend, Mr. Orval Austin. This scholarship provides funds for students in Education. Minimum grade point average of 2.0) and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Outstanding Nursing Student Biennial Scholarship



Established to recognize outstanding nursing students entering their junior year. This scholarship provides funds for junior or senior students in good standing in the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Additional letter demonstrating career goals is required.





Paul H and Carol L Wise Family Scholarship



Established by Paul H. and Carol L. Wise who have contributed to the growth and vitality of Lewis-Clark State College, the City of Lewiston and the State of Idaho. This scholarship provides funds for a student athlete. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to first-generation students. Additional letter stating how this scholarship will help secure your education is required.





RENCI Scholarship



Established by the Retired Educators of North Central Idaho. This scholarship provides funds for senior students pursuing a degree in Education going into their teaching internship who graduated from a high school in the North Central Idaho region high school (Moscow to Riggins, border to border). Minimum grade point average of 3.0) and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Residence Hall Scholarship



This scholarship will be given to a student living in the residence halls who demonstrates strong community and school involvement.   Full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Riddle Family Scholarship



Established by Jane and Ray Riddle to honor their daughters, Dr Jann hill and Mrs. Nancy Dowling and their life-long commitment to the education profession. This scholarship provides funds for students within two semesters of applying to the Teacher Education Program and who have completed 60-90 credits. Minimum grade point average of 2.8 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.  Preference will be given to Native American students.





Rob Copeland Memorial Scholarship



Established by Hall-Copeland employees in honor and memory of Rob and Tony Copeland. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Auto Mechanics Technology. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Robbie Miller Memorial Endowed Scholarship



Established by the generosity of community members in memory of Robbie Miller who passed away at the age of 3 ½. The donors ask the recipient to do one kind deed to a needy person or animal in his name. This scholarship provides funds for sophomore, junior or senior students enrolled in professional technical studies. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students from Orofino High School (ID). Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Robert (Jack) Bowler Endowed Scholarship



Established in memory of Robert (Jack) and Pearl Bowler and their commitment to education. This scholarship provides funds for incoming freshman students pursuing a four-year degree. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors. Students receiving an athletic scholarship are not eligible.





Robert D and Evelyn M Urquhart Scholarship



Established by Robert and Evelyn Urquhart to foster and encourage excellence in science and mathematics. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree within the natural sciences or mathematics. Minimum grade point average of 3.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Rosemary F Shaber Nursing Scholarship



Established in honor of Rosemary F. Shaber. This scholarship provides funds for non-traditional students enrolled in the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Letter of recommendation required addressing student’s commitment to community health and additional essay required.





Ruth and Frank J. Heck Endowed Scholarship



Established by Reverend Henry L. and Mrs. Mary H. Sugden to honor Drs. Ruth and Frank J. Heck, physicians at the Mayo Clinic. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to underrepresented students. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Open to all majors.





Shawn Mark Smith Memorial Scholarship



Established in honor of Mark Smith who taught Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration at Lewis Clark State College for 29 years and in memory of his son, Shawn Mark Smith. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required.





Shinn Family Alumni Scholarship



Established in memory of Ethel Shinn. This scholarship provides funds for students who have completed at least one semester at Lewis-Clark State College and are pursuing a degree in a Career & Technical Education program. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





St Joseph Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship



Established by the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Auxiliary which is a volunteer organization established more than 50 years ago to aid patients, staff, the hospital and the community. This scholarship provides funds for students accepted into the Nursing Program. Minimum grade point average of 2.8 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students currently employed at St. Joseph Medical Center and/or students who express an interest in living and working in the Lewis-Clark Valley upon graduation. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Steven "Steve" G Lee Scholarship



Established by Steve Lee in 2018. This scholarship provides funds for students all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are a single parent. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Susan P Schroeder Memorial Scholarship



Established by Ned R. Schroeder in memory of his wife Susan who devoted her time to education at Lewis-Clark State College. This scholarship provides funds for students who graduated from an Idaho high school, are pursuing a degree in either Natural Sciences or English and have completed at least four upper division credits in Geology and/or English. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and at least part-time enrollment (6 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who are graduates from a high school in Nez Perce County (ID).





Syringa Bank Endowed Scholarship



Established by Syringa Bank who opened their doors in Lewiston in 2006. This scholarship provides funds for students pursuing a degree with the Business Division. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





The Ray of Sun Scholarship



Established by Dixie Johnson as a reflection of her attendance and success as Lewis Clark State College.  This scholarship provides funds for students attending who have an incarcerated parent (at time of application) or are a current or former foster youth. Minimum grade point average of 2.5 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) are required. Student must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Three Generations Scholarship - Larry Butts Family



Established in honor of Susan Butts’ graduation from Lewis-Clark State College in 2004. Susan was the third generation of her family to graduate from Lewis-Clark State College; her mother Patricia J Butts graduated in 1989 and her grandmother, Verna S Butts graduated in 1922. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who graduated from Lewiston High School and/or students who are enrolled in, or have already taken, Video Productions.





Troy Schelb Memorial Scholarship



Established by the Associated Students of Lewis-Clark State College in honor of Troy Schelb. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors who have completed at least 24 credits. Minimum grade point average of 3.25 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Students must demonstrate need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.





Walter & Elsie Carr Endowed Scholarship



Established by the families of Walter and Elsie Carr who met when they attended Lewis-Clark State College in 1928. This scholarship provides funds for students in all majors. Minimum grade point average of 2.0 and full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) is required. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from Emmett High School (Emmett, ID).





William G Clouser Social Work Scholarship



Established in honor of William G. Clouser. Dr. Clouser was a faculty member and Program Director in the Social Work Program. This scholarship provides funds for senior students pursuing a degree in Social Work at the Lewis-Clark State College. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 and part-time enrollment (9 or more credits per semester) is required. A personal letter describing why you’ve chosen a career in social work is required.
